Vietjet is the first private airline in Vietnam, which runs under a new-age airline concept. The airline has made a breakthrough in Vietnam’s aviation market, offering millions of people the opportunity to travel by air. Its presence in the market has encouraged the Vietnamese government to invest more in civil aviation infrastructure and speed up privatization of State-owned aviation enterprises.
Currently, the airline has a fleet of 26 aircraft, includingA320 and A321, and operating 150 flights each day. It has already opened 33 routes across Vietnam and Asia-Pacific with international destinations in Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Cambodia and China.
Vietjet has transported more than 12.5 million passengers since launching operations more than three years ago.
Looking ahead, the airline plans to continuously expand its network across the region. To prepare for this plan, Vietjet has signed agreements with reputable aircraft-manufacturers to purchase brand-new and modern aircraft.
